Our 2016 Pinot Noir was crafted from an award-winning vineyard recognized around the world for exceptional pinot noirs. Located approximately three miles south of our downtown Sonoma tasting room, this vineyard is cared for with hands-on methods by a family of growers who have been growing grapes for over a century. This vineyard is perfectly primed for pinot noir: during the day, the sun shines brightly, warming the vines, and by night, cool fog rolls in from the ocean and blankets the vineyard, making for happy pinot grapes.

This age-worthy pinot noir is complex, similar to old world Burgundian wines, with intense flavors of cherry, wild strawberry and plum. A touch of clove and white pepper tickles the tongue. It's well balanced, and strikes a balance between what Corner 103's Lloyd Davis describes as "power and elegance." Drink now or age for 5-10 years.
