Join Lloyd in January 2021 for the ultimate "bucket list" adventure - South Africa!
Begin with Food & Wine Trails optional pre-cruise land programs to Victoria Falls for 2 nights and a true African Safari for 3 nights, curated exclusively for Corner 103 guests. Depending on your budget and time constraints, choose both land programs, or just one land program or simply fly directly to the Azamara Journey in Cape Town for a 12-night South Africa Wine Cruise, the choice is yours!
Embark the intimate Azamara Journey in Cape Town, tucked beneath Table Mountain before setting sail along South Africa's coast. Ports of call include Port Elizabeth, known as "The Friendly City", and for its animal sanctuary of Addo Elephant National Park - home to the densest population of elephants in the world. Then it's on to the white-sand beaches and dunes of East London, diverse and enchanting Maputo with its Portuguese colonial-era architecture, Richards Bay - gateway to Zululand and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, home to the largest white rhino population on earth. Durban, South Africa is a city on the Indian Ocean where Zulu, Indian and European cultures thrive, then enjoy two leisure days at sea before arriving back in Cape Town, but it's not over yet! You'll have two nights in Cape Town with the ship as your hotel and plenty of time to explore the capital city, learn about its past and apartheid history and sip your way around the world-renowned Cape Winelands.
Don't miss our inaugural South Africa program. The cruise will be on a smaller, more intimate boat and a limited number of rooms will go fast. Of course, we will have our onboard wine program, featuring exclusive receptions, wine tastings, social gatherings and a very special Winemaker’s Dinner. The wine program will also feature optional wine-themed shore tour options, available exclusively to our group.
