My 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from a few select rows from two mountain vineyards in the historic Sonoma Valley, which is known for its unique terroir. One vineyard is 50 years old at an elevation of 1,800 feet in Nuns Canyon. The other is on the Western Mayacamas mountains, nestled into the North side of the Kenwood corridor.
A combination of two of Sonoma Valley's finest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. A 50 year old, dry farmed vineyard at 1800' elevation in Nuns Canyon, and another on the western Mayacamas, nestled into the north side of the Kenwood corridor. Both hillside vineyards allow for small yields and premium quality fruit.
This wine is dense, aromatic, and layered, and explodes from the glass with aromas and flavors of concentrated blackberry, cassis and black cherry. Subtle hints of oak add spice and structure to this intense version of a Cabernet Sauvignon.
