My Pinot Noir was crafted from an outstanding and most southern vineyard in the Russian River Valley comprised of clones 115 & 667. The block is on a knoll in the middle of the valley, with many morning fogs and long afternoon summer sunlight, bringing low yields and heavily concentrated colors and flavors.

My 2013 Russian River Pinot Noir was crafted from an outstanding and most southern vineyard in the Russian River Valley. The block is on a knoll in the middle of the valley with low yields that heavily concentrates the color and flavors. This wine is rich and lush with loads of ripe red berries, persimmons and red currents, finishing with a soft tannic structure. It strikes a balance between power and elegance. Enjoy this wine now or over the next 5 years.

One of Russian River's most southern vineyards, bordering the Petaluma Gap, the vineyard is owned by an Old Italian gentleman who calls himself the Pasta King. The local joke is his grapes are much better than his pasta. The vineyard is comprised of clones 115 & 667, which ripen over many morning fogs and long afternoon Sonoma summer sunlight.
