In a large bowl combine the bread crumbs, cheese, pepper and salt
Stir in eggs
Add beef and sausage and mix thoroughly. Shape into 1 inch balls
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs
Thoroughly combine all sauce ingredients in a 6 quart slow cooker
Add meatballs, stirring gently to coat.
Cook covered on low for 5 hours.
Remove bay leaves and serve with your favorite spaghetti
